Hasek - Chicago
Trottier - Pittsburgh
Luongo - Islanders
Coffey - Boston
Klima - 2nd time with Wings
Lindros - Toronto & Dallas (I honestly forgot he had played at all post-lockout)

Trottier was a shell of his former self in Pittsburgh, but they did win some Cups with him centering the 3rd line and I think his experience definitely helped that brief dynasty.

Reminds me of Modano's potential status here in Detroit next year.
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Jacques Plante - Boston

I was thinking of prominent players who had some brief stints with franchises you forget they ever played for. Many of these came at the end of that player's career, but some others are early in a career or in the middle.

Also, I know Glenn Hall didn't have a bad stint in Detroit, but I alway forget that he played for the Wings at one time.

Mark Messier - Canucks
Igor Larionov - Panthers/Devils
Ron Francis - Leafs
Brett Hull - Coyotes
Eric Lindros - Stars/Leafs
Luc Robitaille - Penguins
Doug Harvey - Red Wings
Sergei Fedorov - Blue Jackets
Markus Naslund - Penguins
Brian Leetch - Bruins/Leafs
Glenn Hall - Red Wings

So what are some others you can think of?

Brett Hull - Coyotes Super floater started out in Calgary...

Cam Neely in Vancouver.

Holy hell, I didn't even know at all that Belfour played 13 games with San Jose in 1996-97 - had to look it up on TSN to even see when it happened.

Looking at his stats, I guess he wasn't much help for them.

Most San Jose fans hate him.

Can't believe no one has mentioned Cujo with Detroit! How about Joe Thorton with Boston.

What kind of color is red? Red is a warning, a declaration, a color that says I'm ready to do what it takes. Red is focused and driven because red doesn't like second place. So what kind of color is red? Their kind.

No on Thorton in Boston. He did good with what he had and he has never been a leader.

Vladimir Krutov's 1 year stint with Vancouver and his only season in the NHL.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Not great players, but I'm sure that there are a few Wings fans who think that Maltby and Draper have played their entire careers here.
