This is a beautiful park, near Romeo, with over 2000 acres of woods, rolling hills with lots of trails. The North Branch of the Clinton River runs right past the working Mill that was built in the 1840's. The leaves changing in this park is phenomenal. Nearby Stoney Creek Metropark seems to get all the attention, leaving this park nearly a secret.

There will also be a Civil War reenactment in the park that weekend. Several hundred of us reenactors will teach history through living it in Military and Civilian camps all weekend long.

That's really cool. I think I remember hearing about the Civil War reenactments that went on there. I used to have cross country meets there. It was a nice place, but the course was hard. That Clinton River you mentioned, yeah we had to run straight through it...twice.
