Its just a charley horse, Mule is being held out of thw rest of the game as a precaution.

No reason to get so broken up about this. Just compare the rosters and it's clear that something like this was going to happen. The Pens are firing on all cylinders because they want to impress their home crowd on CEC's first game.

The way Ken Kal was talking, I'm imagining Downey didn't just lose, he got pumped.

He has been out of it for a year though.

I agree. The Wings didn't dress a lot of their starters. The Pens dressed almost all their starters. Mainly because this is the opening night of their new arena. Anyone saying that the Wings are doomed this season are talking out their collective asses.

God its only preseason, and besides if my team opened up a new stadium i'd come out firing too. The wings will be fine, preseason means nothing but to fill roster spots.

Man am I glad I kept my hopes low for this game. Soon as I saw the projected lines, I wrote this one off.

Yes Bert Smoked Orpick, as he should have - I did not see it, but was listening to the Pen's Feed , and Those who called The Downey Scrap so "Vosiferiosly" didn't have much to say about Bert Flexing his muscle.

I don't really want to fuel the fire, but...

I think it's beginning to at least be fair to start considering 'bashing' (opening questioning) Osgood a bit. I don't have a problem admitting when he's good ('08 playoffs), but i think two straight horrendous regular seasons warrants it.

This last season sent me right over the edge. When he was complaining and whining about Babcock and the Wing's defensive support in the media, i had about enough of him. If I'm a correct a 24 year old rookie (whom not many were very high on) stole his job. Nearly every chance he got to start, HE played horrendously. The "well i need to start X amount of games before i can play well" excuse was pitiful. Your a pro Chris, you aren't going to always get those chances.

I get it's the preseason, i'm not jumping over a bridge. But i am getting just a bit tired of seeing 5 goals for the opposing team on the board and being 95% certain I know who's in goal.
