I never cared about negs in the first place but I imagine any post that implies that Lidstrom is too old would have gotten a dogpile of negs.
Here's a legit one that I really believe:
I would have loved to see Pronger wearing the Winged Wheel.

I absolutely would've loved to have Pronger on the Wings. Watching him knock guys through the boards as he helped the Wings deep into the playoffs, smiling that s*** eating gap-toothed grin all the while.
The guy's a beast. He gets hated on that much for a reason.

Oh and I forgot.
Gritty third line or third scoring line?
I honestly don't know for sure where I stand on this. During the regular season a third scoring line is extremely helpful imo. However, when the playoffs come, a gritty line that works harder and simply annoys and gets in the way of the other team can be pretty helpful too. It's a pretty tough question for me to be honest.

This isn't all that false depending on the time frame. Even Stevie admitted that during the 02 cup run that his main mindset was that whenever he got the puck that he should immediately give it to Sergei. Stevie definitely had exceptional efforts on his own at that time but Sergei also took care of a lot of tasks that Stevie didn't have to worry about.

I didn't really tailor my posts to fit the whole +/- system. I just kinda, you know, posted my opinion on the topics. Whether or not they were popular doesn't really concern me a whole lot. 
That said I think Bettman is doing a fine job with the new NHL, and isn't given enough credit.
