kindl and raffy only dmen not minus

wonder what babs thinks about ericssons play

Kindl was definitely better than Ericsson this game. But I think they'll both be rotated throughout the regular season. Janik and Smith had some brutal moments together.

i am really intrigued by your sig. are those the things that you must have to survive, and in order?

i just love how taco bell is thrown in there.

Yeah, those would be my lifelines. Taco bell is my addiction, those volcano burritos never get old.

Obviously not a particularly well played game, but again, it's the B-team. They managed to coalesce into something resembling a competitive hockey club in the second period, but dissolved shortly thereafter.

The only players that were important mostly had a good game. Flip had lots of good jump and Bert and Mule tagged along well. Kronwall notably had a poor game though; Rex was up and down.

I guess a lot of people will see five goals on the board and jump to "OMG JIMMY" but the B-team was badly outplayed for 40 minutes and he performed well while facing so many scoring chances.

of course, 3 goals against and people whine about Ozzie :P I think this will be the season that Jimmy looks average, good enough to win but not spectacular like last year. Then after getting his paycheck he rocks it out, all part of his plan to keep winning. :)

Offensively I think Smith is above Kindl or Ericsson, but his defense is not NHL ready.

I think our 'B' team played well against Chicago's starting lineup. The guys tonight had no jump. They seemed blah. Wings do have a bright future and they have 'too much' depth right now, since Ritola will likely be gone.

This was considerably more of a "B" roster than the team had in that night.

I wouldn't say that. There were 9 NHL Regulars on the Wings roster tonight. There were 6 against the 'Hawks, and that's if you count Aaron Downey.

Also, Chicago iced a far superior Team.

Nope. I definitely wouldn't say that "this" was even AS close to a "B" Team, as that which was iced against the defending SC Champs.
