30 teams 30 days

TSN's 30 Teams in 30 Days I find this article lacking in actual journalism. Same s*** said every year, hell they didn't even get the brothers age right.

Discuss, maybe?

Honestly, most sports related things lack any sort of real insight. There's simply no way, on their tight schedules, sports writers can really get to know their subject teams. They can only touch on the obvious, superficial stuff. And since journalism is dead, there's no one to teach them how to do research.

New year, same spin. Detroit is old, Detroit is losing the ability to win, Detroit needs this or that and blah blah blah.

If you're a Wings fan, A.) you've heard it before and know the real deal. B.) Dont read the comments left on that page, they nearly sent me into nerd rage mode. Particularly when people comment about how last year is proof that the wings are on a decline because we finished in fifth place and such....

what these ignorant fools fail to comprehend is the true depth of our injury's last season. my rebuttal is simple, any other team faced with the magnitude of what we had happen last year would not have survived the playoff race. period end of story.

Chicago is better then Detroit man. Let it go of Detroit being the powerhouse they once were. They are good, but they have to get past Chicago for the next 10 years and St.Louis. Like it or not Detroit's core isn't as tough as it once was. Expect Detroit to be fighting for the playoffs for the next couple years instead of being the top dog. Just stating the obvious. Happens in all sports man..tides turn

Would you agree that Chicago this year is not as good as Chicago last year? Would you (also) agree that Detroit is better this year than last year? Times change but with a few roster spots (and a lot of money) coming available over the next few years and a good pool of prospects, I don't see how Detroit will have to fight for the 8th spot consistently.

come one, everyone knows that none of those players contributed anything to their cup run

For the Chicago fan: The wings are better then your hawks this year. If you really think that Detroit is going to be fighting for that 8th seed this year, you are insane. Datsyuk and Zetterberg are both better then Kane and Toews. And the rest of our depth dominates yours by a wide margin. You can live in your fantasy world of being the best team in the league, despite losing over half your team. It's cool bro, we get it. U WONZ DA CUP!

Sorry about your tide taking 49 years to turn.
