If I gambled, I would put a lot of money on Chicago under-performing. Cup hangover is for real (some teams do not even make the playoffs after losing less players than Chicago) and only one key injury could hamstring them worse than multiple injuries did to Detroit last year.

hard to believe that out of every team in the league, the blackhacks are the favorite to win the cup again.

but having the wings at 11/1 makes for a good payday.

what do you guys think?

11-1 on the Wings? I think I'll throw 100 on that for sure.

Agreed. They have looked pretty bad so far in preseason. If they sustain any injuries, or multiple injuries they will be so screwed. All of their top prospects are already plugged into the normal lineup, they literally do not have the cap space nor the talent to bring anyone up in case of injuries. Really curious to see how they deal with that.

Remember that betting odds aren't just a prediction about how good a team is. Any fan or sports book knows it's a long season and anything can happen, so pre-season odds under around 10-1 means more than anything just that those teams can still get a lot of action that low.
