Was watching the Ducks pre-season game Friday night and noticed the new mask of Jonas Hiller - all black with no design.

Found this article about the mask along with pictures. It looked ok with the Ducks black jerseys, not sure how it will look with the white jerseys.

Simple and clean, nothing special. Good one.

I kinda like this design. I think it would look a lot sweeter if they added a small gold trim around the outside edges.

Probably got it that way because he realized there just isn't really way to make an airbrushed duck look intimidating...

Covert Ops has its perks. You travel, make your own hours, and expense most of your meals.
The downside? Lots of people want you dead...

I always prefered his 2009 mask.

Couldn't he just straight up wear a Darth Vader mask, or would the league not allow it?

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

I like the idea but I'm not a fan of the carbon feel. It makes me think that he doesn't make enough money playing hockey and has to take a second job as a coal miner. Unfortunately he doesn't have enough time between jobs to take his mask off.

Can't stand matte. A little gloss would have been great.

I agree; I love the all black, but the texture feels all wrong.

I like the simple look. I think the bling-bling is way overdone and is getting stale tbh

I'd like to see a recreation of the 'Friday the 13th" mask ;D

he probably thinks it increases his odds of the refs losing sight of a loose puck and the play will come to an end.

I get the whole flat black thing and i think it does look cool... BUT I do love the artistry that the goalies and the artists create together and how the goalie mask is the canvas... so jonas can suck a ducks *******...i hope he loses every game he plays.

I think if he wanted something simple, a nice Glossy Carbon Fiber look would have been nice.

What kind of color is red? Red is a warning, a declaration, a color that says I'm ready to do what it takes. Red is focused and driven because red doesn't like second place. So what kind of color is red? Their kind.
