No real surprise here.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Detroit Red Wings on Monday assigned right wing Jan Mursak to the Grand Rapids Griffins.

In six preseason games with the Red Wings, Mursak tied for second on the club with two goals and tied for sixth with three points. The 22-year-old native of Maribor, Slovenia, had a breakout 2009-10 season with the Griffins, placing second on the team with 24 goals and tying for third with 42 points

Will be a great player. Hopefully he scores 30 goals and puts up close to 60 points this season in GR. Next season he'll be a full time Wing. :thumbup:

Ken Holland: He’s (Mursak) a young guy, provides energy, can skate, he’s a puck hound.
