Looking at they're lineup, I'm thinking this should be a steam roll. It's amazing how fast Anaheim's depth and overall talent have disintegrated. That D is barely a shadow of a couple years ago. They're bottom two lines are pretty bad. That said though, Hiller can keep them in games.

Drop the puck!

I'm thinking the Wings will be pumped to show they're a force to be reckoned with this season.

5-1.

Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Franzen, Lidstrom, Hudler.

It's been far too long since a regular season GDT.

Thanks to HockeyTown0001 and all the Board admins for the GDT and letting us Wings fans have a place to sound off.

Opening night Hat Trick for Pavel tonight.

I was doing fine for the 5 months since the last meaningful Wings game, why does it now seem like 7:30 will never get here?

Is it too late to petition the league for a matinee start?

Updated in the OP. He won't be playing tonight.

I cannot agree more with ya! I wonder if Cus is the guy that gives the stats to Babcock before the games and during the intermissions? <_< In any event, I love his posts, and I always look forward to them, it's funny,I like the stat about what our record is on a certain day, it always seems to be spot on. Its amazing to be able to almost predict the outcome based on that stat alone!

Hiller, my boy, in my fantasy team, might struggle with that D in front of him. Lets hope he does tonight, although he often plays well when facing a ton of shots. He'd want to this season.

Wings take this 4-2. Goals by Hank x2, Franzen and Rafalski.
