Maybe this will add some meaning into my life.

Ducks 0

14 goals for the Wings called back. League stands by its officials. Other fans say we're paranoid and have delusions of persecution. The only goal counts because it occurs with less than 20 seconds left in the game and the officials realize they can't let it go to overtime since Babs' glare has already melted the ice to the point where they can barely skate.

Wings win. Ducks cry foul.

My money on the board pledge:

$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.

An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.

$5 for a SO by Jimmy.

Anyone hear anything about maltby playing tonight? Gotta determine which jersey to wear tonight at the joe. Wanna wear maltby if hes ganna play to show respect, but if hes not in then i gotta wear my zetterberg jersey.

Either way, wings win 4-1 zetterberg, franzen, hudler, lidstrom.

So the weather's finally cooling off (today's daytime high is only supposed to be 85F) and it's finally time for hockey that counts again.

So excited. Didn't see any of the pre-season so this will be the first game of the '11 season. Of course, I have to work so I'll be watching this afterward thanks to DVR.

I still haven't seen the Wings game come up on the Center Ice lineup. What gives?

I am hoping it's Pasha who scores the first goal. I have a bet going on it. No money involved, but dinner is. The loser of the bet has to cook dinner for the winner. The other party is betting on Henrik.

Watch, we'll both be wrong and it will be someone like Cleary or Bertuzzi. Then we go dutch out to eat. :lol:
