Rangers vs. Islanders 10/11

Rangers still playing awesome D in front of Lundqvist I see.... Sucks that that guy has to play for that team, he is so skilled.

That is how it is and will continue to be in the cap world - If a goalie wants to make big bucks, he better be able to stand on his head and better not expect a great D in front of him, whereas the winning formula is quite different - Modest dollars spent on goaltending, good chunk on a great d and the rest on offense, with an emphasis on at least 1 dynamic scoring line...

defense wins championships.

Watched the 1 period.Watching Blues & Ducks at the moment.

Anaheim defense is so awful and it wouldn't surprise me if Lils somehow finish on their 1st D pair :scared:

The Blues are seriously all over the Ducks. I can't believe how bad the Ducks look.

Man, DiPietro is a disaster. After everything that has happened, it's hard to imagine him being good.

I agree. He just doesn't look confident. Goaltending is 75% mental and it looks like he needs a boost in that 75% category.

Wow, nice power play by the Islanders. A 5 on 3 goal and then a 5 on 4 goal. Thats taking advantage of your opportunities.

That was an amazing backhand pass. Comeau had great reaction time on it too. I don't think he expected the puck to end up on his stick.

And the Battle for New York goes to the Islanders. Fun game to watch. It's so much easier to root for the Islanders than the Rangers.

good game so far, but i was curious, why is it on so early?

We're today celebrating the elimination of the continent's indigenous population.

For the record, this is a joke. I detest Columbus Day.
