Get off work tonight just in time to see this, hopefully Jimmy shuts the door again!

Prediction:

Wings 4 - Lidstrom, Zetterberg, Hudler & Bertuzzi

Avs 1 - Quincey

LETS GO WINGS!

I like your choice of Quincey for a goal, even though I hate the fact that he's with them now. I also go with your Lidstom goal since way too often, he's the only one shooting. I would pick Cleary, Homer and Franzen for the other three. I'd love to think Happy would get one, but he needs to get involved!

TSN now updated in the OP

One of these milleniums, you'd think Directv would add that network as a regular channel. Helleuuuoooo?! <_<

Here's hoping we kick some more butt tonight.

Jimmy stats are :yowza:amazing :yowza: so far this year. Here's hoping he keeps it up!

I'm very interested to see how tonight's defensive pairing work at as well.

:siren::clap: LGW!! :clap::siren:

Good news ladies and gentlemen, I'm excited so I had to post this ;)

I have FSD HD full-time now, so from here on out until....the account is canceled. So, I will have FSD (or FSD+) all the time, every-time, with pre and post game coverage :D

Woohoo, now I need to get myself a HTPC so I can stream and watch games on the big projector.

Whats with everyone saying that Z and Huds need to star putting the puck in the net? We've only played two games, give them some time!

Z had so much trouble scoring last year that I just think he needs to get his scoring going early this year, for his confidence. I'd like to see him score 30-40 goals this season, and I think with the chances he's had the first 2 games he should have already had a goal or two. A couple more games where he has chances but can't convert and it could get in his head.

Does anyone still think we have a "rivalry" with Colorado? :)

Big E isn't playing so that will make some folks happy. I would love to see a solid win tonight, keep the momentum going.

Also, I would love to see a power play which doesn't make me cringe. ;)

Sadly, no. Not at all. I don't even think the rivalry was still going in the 08 playoffs when we played and beat them, even though they tried to market it as such.

In fact, the rivalry is so dead, that I actually occasionally find myself rooting FOR the Aves in some games, whereas there was once a time when I hated them with such a relentless passion it would have been inconceivable to ever think of not hating them.

Looking forward to this one, no excuses tonight, period. I'm pissed that we let the Hawks back in the game the other night when we had such a good start, just want a full 60 minutes tonight.

Looking for Howie to maintain that GAA and save %.

The Ducks mainly.

The Pens and Hawks wish they were our main rivals, I feel.

I agree it's the Ducks for now. Avs rivalry died years ago when they started sucking. But I predict that come January when the Ducks are out of playoff contention we'll switch over to the Hawks.

The Avs speed worries me. We don't defend well against speed. They played last night, so maybe that will slow them down. They've allowed 38 shots in each of their first two games. So I'll say we pump 50+ on them. Wings 6-4. Hank x2, Pav, Homer, Mule, Kronwall.

Can't wait for tonight's game, Hank gets on the board, Hudler scores on the PP, Flip gets another point, and the Wings win going away. Bummer that Ericsson can't go with Rafalski out, this could have been a good chance for him to step up ad prove something, but oh well.

Ok, I'm on a nice win streak on Streak for the Cash and right now I have tonight's game picked as 5 goals or under.

Safe pick? Or do you think it could go 6 or more? Budaj is the wild card here because I think Jimmy will keep the goals against pretty low.

This is total goals between both teams btw.

Changing my prediction:

Wings 1

Avs 0

An errant pass flies off of Lidstrom's stick, up into the air, where it hovers strangely, neither rising nor descending. Realizing that it is directly in front of him, Maltby, in his new upstairs position with the Wings, cusses at the puck, which then flees from him at the speed of light into the net.

This is impossible. Maybe 0.9999999c, but definitely not c.
