Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted October 13, 2010 Has anyone been there yet? I am trying to find out information, because I'm thinking about taking a trip down there. Any opinions on the store? Is it as legit as they make it out to be?
NickA 39 Report post Posted October 13, 2010 Ive been there a few times; its right in the heart of NYC, and its a pretty cool store-- but I certainly wouldnt make a special trip there JUST to see the store; I usually stop in when Im in NYC. Its definitely a great spot to get a jersey, hat , or t-shirt as they have them for every team. I remember though that the t-shirts especially were very expensive; they had a cool vintage Minnesota North Stars t-shirt and I was going to but it until I saw that it was around $50. kook_10 1,705 Report post Posted October 13, 2010 Times Square tourist trap prices. Save your money and get a bone-in filet at Del Frisco's a block away.

edicius 3,269 Report post Posted October 13, 2010 It's a neat store, but just a store nonetheless. Worth a visit if you're in the city (along with Nintendo World if you're into gaming), but nothing overly special. And yes, the prices for merch there are obscene. crotty99 302 Report post Posted October 14, 2010 I'll be going to NYC next year (first trip to the USA ever). I would like to shop at the NHL store but if the prices are that ridiculous maybe it's not the best idea. Where would you reccomend I shop for hockey gear?
