Like Babcock, I can't stand the nonsense I saw last game. Lazy, turnovers and guys not finishing their checks. We should be 3-0.
Anyway the Stars fans apparently plan on booing Modanos return which is laughable considering what he meant to their city .. and even before Dallas when he was a North Star. Management had NO room for him on their roster so these "fans" are saying he should have just retired?? SMFH.
Wings win easily after sloppy Tuesday night game. And Modano nets 2 assists!!!

Does anybody else find it ridiculous that baseball teams celebrate like that every time they advance a round, or even just make the playoffs?OK, so this is a little off topic, but spouse told me that the Texas Rangers' baseball team celebrated their win, but chose to drink ginger ale (No, not Mickey's kind.
) instead of champagne because Josh Hamilton had said he couldn't be in the clubhouse for it because of his (recovering) alcoholism. Is that cool, OR WHAT?!

Tough game tonight, away in Dallas is normally a tough trip. Not really loving the fact we have to travel to play a team who haven't played since Saturday after we played a tough game on Tuesday that went right to a shootout. Any result tonight will be a good result. I predict a tied game after 3 periods and hopefully the Red Wings can nick it in OT or in the SO.

I was going to write something very similar. Happy he came home though.With the classless bulls*** the Dallas organization showed to Modano, I hope that Modano has the game of his career. Seriously, I can't believe they wouldnt offer him a paycheque to retire with the franchise he gave his twenty years to. What a slap in the face! I want the Wings to bury them tomorrow night

If Modano were to score, what kind of reception would he get? Judging by some of the comments on the Stars board, the reaction would be pretty mixed.
I would hope the reaction would be a warm welcome. Its not like Mike asked to leave, the organization kicked him out. I know there will probably be a few "Modano sucks" signs in the crowd held up by ignorant fans, but I hope the majority of the crowd gives him the respect he deserves.

It's not like Modano bolted. The Stars didn't want him back, and he wanted to keep playing, so he jumped at the chance to play for his hometown team. No foul there.
