Don't see anything positive to come out of this game so far. Franzen is hurt, the third line is s***, the first line doesn't know what they are doing, the defense is in the clouds, and Osgood just looks out of his element out there.

Maybe we shouldn't have given an extension to Babcock...he seems to be the problem...got 4 years of pay, why not just stop coaching..

That's what I tried to tell all the homer slappies this offseason, who cheer every signing like it's great.

Fact is, Salei has always been slow and prone to taking boneheaded penalties. He's doing what he's always been best at.

And the funny thing is, my fears over Salei were dismissed by many because of my support of Lilja. And sadly, my fears have been confirmed. Sure, he's cheaper than what the Wings offered Lilja...but there's obviously a reason he's cheaper. I mean, Anaheim gave him up and we've all seen what happened to their defense. If Anaheim didn't want him, that should say something.
