I agree with Mickey. Howard was outstanding in this game. He looks like he did at the end of last season.

Jimmy should have been the first star. He has been great for us already this year.

Jimmy should have been one of the stars

The lack of acknowledgement will no doubt cause him to undergo a long, slow slide towards the powers of Chaos.

I'm with Ken and Mick, Jimmy deserved a star tonight, I don't understand Nick at 1

Crosby's Bettman Real Doll is going to get quite a workout tonight.

I suspect Bertuzzi was aware of this.

you mean... Bertuzzi knows more about hockey than people posting in this forum? Who knew? <_<

Good signs are: Jimmy looks amazing...AGAIN! Our PK looks good. Z and Dats together.

Bad signs: Our 3rd line sucks.

Preds scored to go up 3-2 over the Pens

3rd line NEEDS WORK!

That's an understatement; third line hasn't done anything in six games. The first line seems to be getting going and the second line is a three-man wrecking crew.

And the Preds are back up on the Pens again, 3-2.

Bert giving props to both Howard and Ozzie. I like.

It's time to mix the 3rd and 4th. Modano just seemed to stand around a lot tonight, with a few bursts of decent chances. Hudler, per usual, just sort of disappears, which is good if you're disappearing and scoring, like Brett Hull used to do, or if you're on defense, like Lidstrom tended to do.

No offense to our guys, but screw their three stars. My three stars:

1. Jimmy!
2. Flip
3. Mule

Great game by Howard.

Franzen doing what he does best: scoring.

BFF line is amazing.

Datsyuk and Zetterberg up to their old tricks.

Third line awful.

Osgood was pretty weak on the faceoff charts tonight. I expect better from him.

I already can't wait for the playoffs to begin.

These last few games have been boring, with not much hitting and certainly not much enthusiasm from the crowd. I guess the stakes have to get higher or something.

Maybe this next game will create some more spark. Hopefully.

Oh, come on, totally not his fault. Salei gave him a pencil with a crappy eraser and dull lead. He never had a chance with that.
