Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted October 23, 2010 (edited) Bertuzzi - Probable Apple Fritters - healthy scratch unless Bertuzzi is out. Link DETROIT -- Todd Bertuzzi missed practice Friday, but is expected to play Saturday against the Anaheim Ducks.Wings coach Mike Babcock said Bertuzzi just "took the morning off" and that him missing practice had nothing to do with his back flaring up, which was an issue of his during the preseason. Justin Abdelkader (ribs) skated on Bertuzzi's line with Valtteri Filppula and Johan Franzen. Abdelkader has been cleared to play and may return to action as early Saturday. "He's on the radar,'' Babcock smiled. "There's a chance (for Saturday). We'll see. He's healthy and ready to go now. Before he wasn't even on the radar screen and now he is. So we'll see what happens." Jimmy Howard will start against the Ducks. MD Edited October 23, 2010 by Konnan511 1 redwingsgirl51 reacted to this
MulesWillFly93 199 Report post Posted October 23, 2010 (edited) Thank god for the feed. I have every dang channel known to man (VS, NHLN, CI, FSN) and live in Ducks territory, yet I still don't get the game because it's on some funky OC- and LA-only channel. Last time it was my cable company's fault for not carrying FSN West Prime Ticket, but this time San Diego just doesn't get it period. Ok, rant over, gooooo Wings! I want Howard and Bertuzzi specifically to keep being awesome. When they're awesome, I feel awesome. Glad Bert's good to go, by the way. MacAttack25 44 Report post Posted October 23, 2010 I predict our second line will win 23 - 1. The one goal that the Ducks score will cause a 6 page debate on whether or not Howard should have had it. Go Wings. 4 redwingsgirl51, Theophany, 55fan and 1 other reacted to this

dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted October 23, 2010 The Ducks have kinda gotten their act together since we played them last time. The Getzlaf line is especially dangerous. Not expecting an easy game. 4-3 Wings in OT. P.S. any time we get away from a Ducks game without any injuries I'm a happy man. Please make it so.

RedWingskiddo 3 Report post Posted October 23, 2010 Anything bout the (largely useless) third line possibly being taken apart? I firmly believe that all three players could be so much better, especially hudler
dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted October 23, 2010 Anything bout the (largely useless) third line possibly being taken apart? I firmly believe that all three players could be so much better, especially hudler It's a bit soon to start making changes, especially since all the other lines look good. If they don't improve in the next couple of games I'm sure Babs will try something different though.
