Didn't look too bad if you ask me...It's hockey afterall, and from what I can see he used his shoulder, kept his elbow tucked in with the initial contact, and Kronwall only left the ice slighty as he followed thru with his check.

Just hope the league doesn't insert it's head up it's a$$, and find this hit worthy of suspension...Selanne neeeds to keep his head up.

IMHO the only "ugly" thing about this hit was Selanne's head was down (Kronwall's shoulder making contact with Teemu's jaw), and he got knocked on his keester.

That was shoulder to head. He would have been really messed up if it was an elbow.

I'm pretty sure in context he was saying that calls that are 50-50 or could go either way always get called in our favor.

I don't want to hear a dang thing out of Selanne about biased officiating after they allowed the Ducks' 3rd goal. You can say the reffing sucks, and I would agree, but don't sit there and pretend like there was any way you would've been headed toward OT before Datsyuk's last goal without some serious help from the refs. Get. Over. It.

Unbelievable that ANYONE would complain about us getting favorable officiating. I've never seen another team get screwed over by the refs as often as the Wings do.

Wonder if Selanne and/or Carlyle (more Selanne) will get a fine for those comments. Justified or no, the NHL typically does not like players saying that much about the officiating/product.

Yes there were some bad calls on Anaheim in Detroit's favor, but they made that bed with their actions 3 weeks ago, now they need to sleep in it.
