dirtydangles 1,328 Report post Posted October 29, 2010 regardless of circumstances, the goalie has the task of "stopping the puck." who gives a s*** how it went in. just because someone else doesn't do their job in front doesn't mean the goalie is exempt from "stopping the puck." gotta give the boys out front a chance. anytime the puck goes in the net it is somewhat the fault of the goalie. people make it seem that there might as well not be a goalie when the puck takes a deflection or there is a screen on the shot. 2 Wings3:16 and Jasper84 reacted to this Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

So far none for Ozzie. He's done. Get rid of him. 4 goals on 9 shots in Dallas, and now 3 goals on 12 tonight... LOUD NOISES!!!!! You've obviously never a)played hockey, b) Been a goalie, c) been a defensman. Blaming the goalie on a break-a-way is almost the stupidest thing you can do. Calm down. If they did, they would have heard Mickey say the first goal was not Osgoods fault. The second goal was not Osgoods fault. The third goal MIGHT have been deflected. Course, Mickey is the best announcer according to Wings fans.
