as far as the "wannabe artist" as i reflect on that statement, artists are artists, there really is no "wannabe" artist. If you create art, you are an artist. As most artists are, they are a "free spirited" type of person, which explains that video to a T and why it does not reflect the city of detroit.I never claimed you hated the fact that they were trying to improve Detroit, and I suggested that you might not deem what they're doing important - because you seemingly wrote them off as 'wannabe artists'. It wasn't a personal attack on you, as I'm sure there are plenty of people who would argue that what these people are doing isn't important in the grand scheme of things. When the city needs so much more than urban farming, restaurants, and an artist culture - it'd be easy to have that stance.
Im not taking your posts as a personal attack, just stating my position. I really think you read way too much into my post. I watched the piece like 2 months ago and thats what i got from it. it just doesnt reflect the city of detroit.
