Scored on late in third, scored on late in OT, this getting scored on late will kill this team down the stretch

f*** this game, jimmy sucked big time tonight

Again, with Osgoods injury, Howards bound to end up having a game or two like this, especially coming off an injury himself. He didn't play well; didn't look sharp, but he hasn't had a break all month. The same thing happened last year after he started 4-5 in a row. Not every goalie can play at a top notch level for countless games without a break. It is what it is, and it's not the end of the world. Again, it'll be good to get Osgood back and get some balance again. Tough to fault Howard too much in the meantime.

Osgood? I would feel safer with Ericsson in the net, this team hasn't got a decent backup and howard have serious rebound issues

So this is what losing feels like? Well, I hope they get it out of their system now and go on a big win streak.

Jimmy needs to be better, he's been letting in some softies lately.

Don't you mean Janik? You wanted to start him over Ericsson, remember?

Not as a goalie, anyone is better than osgood really.

Wild probably aren't getting the credit they deserve, they played a good solid (boring, but effective) game. I think someone on the first page of this GDT said this should be an easy win, I knew at that point that some people might be in for a rude awaking.

Quit whining.....

Get off mah nuts. You hav some weird infatuation with me...kinda creepy. BTW, this was me when we were losing and everyone was doom and gloom:

I know we're losing, but the Wings HAVE looked like the better team. We'll come back =]

Lidstrom played bad. If you're going to single me out, then you must call out everyone who said something negative towards any player in this thread and also who ever criticized Lidstrom this game. Thought so young one.

Win as a team, lose as a team. Goaltending was not great. Defense was not great. Our top line was not great either. Anyone blaming goaltending alone is an idiot. Blame the crap effort as a whole.

Except the Red Wings had the puck in Minnesota's zone 95% of the game and the Wild still managed to score four goals (three of which are solely on Howard).

I'm all for saying it wasn't a great team effort, but Jimmy Howard and his lack of rebound control cost us a point tonight. He'll bail the team out plenty this season, but he really deserves the blame for this loss. I think even idiots could see that.
