It's too big of a game to start MacDonald. And, this is Babcock we're talking about, he's not going to sit Howard unless the guy is completely unable to play.

Jimmy will be fine, since he wasn't actually the problem last game. If the D didn't over-do the turkey and adult beverages yesterday, things should look a lot better. The Wings are a proud team - even a holiday hangover shouldn't make them ignore the fact that they didn't show up in Atlanta.

Wings will win... goals from Bert, Cleary and Hudler - amongst others.

I will be listening to this game on a radio, in a tent, likely in the middle of a snow shower, curled up in a sleeping bag as vicious squirrels and man-sized spiders loom all around me.

If I find a chill spot, I'll try to get a camp fire going, get stoned, and watch the Red Wings on the Radio

Earlier, on the NHL.com preview, it said they will be wearing them tonight (Against the Wings). I have no idea about Sunday, or what they did/didn't do last Wednesday. I was under the impression that this would be their first game wearing the Jersey's, but I'm basing this off my memory. The same memory that gets totally confused if you ask me what I had for breakfast today....

Fortunately he is wrong. The vast majority of the time in sports, a team follows up a poor performance with a strong one.

According to the Fox Sports Ohio site, the third jersey will be worn in both games of the home and away series this weekend. I like the idea of the logo, but why is everyone using the navy blue/baby blue combo for their third jerseys, they all look the same.
