ProfessorLidstrom5 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2010 What a great game and solid all around effort from the Griffins!! I was sitting about 10 rows behind the Griffins bench for my birthday and couldn't ask for a better present. The Griffins played 75% of the game in the Admirals zone and they were deadly on the PP. Joey Mac was solid in the net. Made an awesome glove save - the kind where the goalie does the splits and does a swatting motion with the glove. Smith looked really good out there all night. The kid has top 4 defenseman wriiten all over him. The Griffins D was very stingy all night and didn't give the Admirals any easy shots. Tatar was about 1 in. away from a hat trick. He looked very lethal with the puck and could be a sniper-type player for the Red Wings in the near future. The line with Tatar, Emmerton, and Pare was outstanding! The Admirals had no answer for them and continued to show it through errors and penalties. I just hope this type of an effort continues! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
