After this abysmal performance against the Hawks, how confident are you that the Wings will turn it on tomorrow night and get Ozzy his 400th win at home? Apparently they did request to Babcock that Ozzy play the home game instead of Chicago.

Really damn certain. They are masters of using negative energy to their advantage. With a loss like this, I expect them to come back absolutely blazing. Add that to the fact that it's Ozzy's 400th, and it's watch out, Stars.

Of course, me saying that probably just jinxed the heck out of them, but I think they can even overcome my jinx for Ozzy's sake.

When the wings are motivated, they're pretty damned good.

And after a s*** game vs. the Hawks and the opportunity to give their more-than-deserving/straight up awesome veteran goalie his 400th win, I think they'll do it

Now all I need to worry about is getting money to get to this game... hmmmmmm

Dallas is by far better then Chicago this season. I doubt they'll win.

The Wings in general have really have been playing poorly lately. The top line is really the only scoring line right now. Flipulla and Hudler are sort of tanking their lines. Secondary scoring is looking pretty weak the last 10 games.

No matter what it comes down to this; Lidstrom coming to Babcock personally saying, we want ozzy to get his 400th at home, Babcock's return "good, then you better start playing like you want it." I think this is the motivation we need.

this, plus also the Stars are playing tomorrow so it will be a back to back for them

also the Wings were horrible in their game against Dallas earlier this season so will probably want to try and make up for that too

Hockey isn't like football, where if Team A loses to Team C, then plays Team B, who is better than Team C, means Team A must lose even bigger to Team B.

Chicago was an uncharacteristic loss and Detroit will bounce back. We all knew December would be a rough month.
