And? He is getting the most media attention with his play. That is what will put him over the top.

over the top as in winning the norris?

idk about that, the norris voters seem to vote based on reputation and most players don't win it for a couple years.

When was the last time a defenseman who doesn't kill penalties won the Norris?

Through 35 games Byfuglien has 4:23 of total SHTOI. That's not per game, that's under 5 minutes of TOTAL time spent killing penalties. Any consideration that Byfuglien gets for winning the Norris is utterly ridiculous and shows just how bastardized the trophy has become. If Buff wins it, they might as well change the definition of the award to the "highest scoring defenseman in the NHL".

I would explain it, but I'm not sure if it's ban worthy, so I'll probably just keep it up in the old noggin'.

Hmm... Waffles... But gross... And they threw waffles at him...

(Looks up waffle at urban dictionary)

12 pages of definitions... Sigh... The first page had some pretty gross ones. Could've been a good laugh but I guess we'll just leave it at that.

Leafs directed 91 shots towards Pavelec. He stopped 37, 3 went in, Atlanta blocked 33 and the Leafs missed the net 18 times.

Keep thinking positive MacK, but the Leafs are horrible, with no hope for the future.

tell that to mike modano, and richard zednik, and clint malarchuk..

Anything that is sharp can cut someone if it makes contact at a high veloticy.

Sticks cut too, but they aren't considered razor sharp.

Point being, a waffle being thrown on the ice during play could cause injury. A skate being sharp isn't going to magically negate the issue of it coming into contact with a foreign object.

whatever, i'm not going to have an argument about waffles with you.

incidentally, wasn't the original terminator exoskeleton 100% waffle? this would definitely support your argument..

;)

Skates are designed for the ice.

Skates are NOT designed for random objects thrown on the ice.

my skate shaped waffle cutters disagree
