I at least get Versus in HD, plus Versus has DMac on it on occasion!

Canucks are 8-1-1 in their last 10 while the Wings are 4-4-2 in their last 10.

Wings have won every game this season that I have attended (4-0). I have been looking for a well priced pair of tickets for this one for a few days. Should I continue my search or have I jynxed it? Time will tell.

Brad Stuart listed day to day with (knee)... im from van. just saw it on our local sportsnet ticker.... hope hes ok we need him but if not rest him up obviously and call up janik or kindl? hopefully its nothing serious... i think its probably just a shot in practice off the knee or a charley horse from practice i dont know..

Last game he took a shot off the knee cap from the point and he went down, thats probably what its from.

Need a win tonight. I'm tired of seeing and hearing about how great Vancouver is, and how this year (like every other) is their year.

All I want for Christmas is 4 things from the Wings:

1. Shoot the puck

2. Hit the net

3. Jimmy stop those pucks

4. Win!!!!

I'd just like a #4 please and I don't care how it happens just make it happen and no need to super size the fries and the coke.

I'm at Mom's so I will get to see this on a tv. Eaves and Sammy both get hat tricks so I can enjoy their beautiful smiles. Then our Captain puts one in with .2 seconds left to win the game. Happiness ensues.

As hot as we looked a few weeks ago, the 'Nucks have almost an identical record to us now. A win for them tonight puts them on top of the West in win percentage.

I think it's going to be a high scoring game, which is bad for Jimmy.

I'm calling 6-5 'Nucks. I don't want them to win, but we knew December was going to be our hardest month, and arguably Vancouver is the best team we'll play this month. Here's hoping I'm wrong.

In our favor, we usually do well against good teams, and Luongo is streaky. Then again, Howard isn't exactly hot streaking either.

Points for Datsyuk and Sedin, for sure.

Kessler pisses me off, by scoring a go ahead goal.

Zetterberg tallies late.

Howard lets in a softy in the first period.

Luongo gets owned by Franzen five minutes later.

Hudler gets zero points, though he does touch the puck once. (Too optimistic?)

Due to the fact that it's nationally televised, and in High Def, I will be wearing my tin foil hat any time the announcers speak.

My personal drinking game for tonight will be to take a shot (Chug a beer) anytime one of the following occurs:

1) Any time an announcer says any of the names: Crosby, Ovechkin, Toews (That alone should get me hammered)

2) Datsyuk Dangles a player, or the goalie. (Two drinks if he scores.)

3) The Sedin's one time it. (Two drinks if they score), ((Throw one beer against the wall if it ties, or takes the lead))

4) Sammy scores (Half a beer for an assist)

5) Anytime HBO's 24/7 is mentioned, or previewed. (Two drinks if Crosby has his mouth open for no damn reason)

6) Drink twice for a win

7) Drink four times for a loss

8) Drink two more before returning to the forums.

It's all about the superstitions, we're hockey fans. ;)

I always hope for a Wings win, nothing has changed.

although I want to Wings to get revenge on the Canuks for the loss earlier in the season, seems the way there playing I will have to agree with you that it could get ugly if they don't show up for a full 60.

If they are the wings' of old they will show up for this huge games against the best team and come out with an impressive win, that would get my hopes up for sure, the bad stretch they had lately would be forgotten to be honest, but if they suck in this one and lose, in a bad way, i will lose alot of faith in this team, they got no reason to suck tonight (only modano is injured, they had a day off on monday and practice on tuesday) no excuses for tired legs, tough schedule etc etc.
