Datsyuk out 4-5 weeks with broken bone in hand

The difference is Pavs elevated his game last year while Hank was out and started clickign with Bert... Pavs can carry the team while Z is injured, as he has quite a few times the past couple years, but I am not sure if Hank can do the same consistantly as he did tonight. The diffference tho is that Pavs had NO ONE to work with last year while Hank has Fil, Franzen, Bertuzzi, Cleary, Hudler, Homer... so the team should be able to dig their way through the month until Pavs comes back.

Who would you guys rather have Tatar or Mursak if anyone was to come up ?

how about each one for a 2 week stint? get to see each in a handful of games.

neither has a realistic shot at sticking with the team regardless, so it could be a good chance to get a couple guys some exposure. tatar obviously is younger and can be developed slowly still, but both are at the point where they can gain a lot from getting nhl minutes and then translate that into increased work ethic down and fundamentals in GR.

Here's one option that could be used, if you make only minor adjustments to the lines used against Vancouver and bring in Draper in Dats' roster spot:

Cleary/Zetterberg/Holmstrom

Abdelkader/Filppula/Eaves

Franzen/Hudler/Bertuzzi

Draper/Helm/Miller

Hudler takes Dats' spot, centering two big, defensively capable wingers. Eaves takes Hudler's spot, putting his fleet feet and quick shot on Filppula's wing. Draper fills the gap Eaves leaves on the fourth line.
