didnt savard want to fight crosby?
savard was calling crosby all sorts of p#@$y because crosby wanted to fight him but was wearing a shield.
crosby had his shield taken off and challenged savard the next shift but savard wanted nothing of it.
i really, really dislike crosby but that was kinda badass.
thank goodness there is no "negative" button anymore, or i'd be in the red.

As much as I like Lucic, I HATE when brawls happen after a clean hit. It's one of the changes to the game that I really dislike.

A little high maybe, though I'd call it clean. But you'd think Meyer had pulled a Claude Lemieux based on Boston's reaction. Ridiculous.I didnt mind seeing a brawl like that, it happens sometimes its just good old time hockey. If it was after a clean hit I could see the reasoning behind why you wouldn't like it but that hit really didnt look clean to me.

Look how many non-fighters are on that card.
A real enforcer hardly has any non-fighters on his card.
Lucic is a top notch spotpicker. Why do you think so many fight fans on hockey-fights, or dropyourgloves hate the guy? It's not just me.

Obviously, you don't frequent enough fight sites.
Lucic is one of the most disliked players out there.
Proves what you know.

Actually I don't. I think it's pretty lame actually.Nothing wrong with hit - but you have to LOVE how Boston answered!!!
I like Boston, but that wasn't a dirty hit, and Lucic is a big boy. The team doesn't need to start jumping guys any time he gets hit like he's some delicate flower.

I go to fight sites plenty and youre right about everyone hating him. But to me the ones who hate Lucic are the old dinosaurs who expect anyone who fights to fight guys like Orr (which looch did) or Boogard.Obviously, you don't frequent enough fight sites.

Lucic is a top 6 player not an enforcer, he really shouldn't fight guys unless they are top 6 players or a contributor in some way like Clarkson for example. Stepping up and fighting Orr did absolutely nothing for him or his team.
Lucic doesn't fight a tonne of tough guys but he does fight and sticks up for himself and his team when he needs to. He gets way more hate then he deserves

Oh well that makes sense then. Its not the old days anymore where guys like Lucic would fight anyone. Someone who likes fights as much as you should be happy there is still a guy like Lucic who can fight and score some goals because the power forward is a dying breedI'm a dinosaur.

Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic will be spending part of Boxing Day having a disciplinary hearing with the NHL for his actions on Thursday night.
...
The punch (if you will) line:
...
NHL vice-president of hockey operations Mike Murphy will handle the hearing, as the Director of Hockey Operations Colin Campbell's son Gregory is a member of the Bruins.

Dunno if I'd call that a clean hit...IMHO it looks as though Meyer made contact with his gloves under Lucic's jaw...I too would probably be a bit pissed if I were Lucic.I hate how players cant take a clean hit these days....
And lol @ the homer Boston announcers, biggest homers in the NHL by far.
