Unfortunately my Christmas got a serious monkey wrench thrown into it.
I got a phone call from my hubby's cardiologist yesterday. His heart is only functioning at 25% of what it should. A normal heart function is about 80. He has a long history of heart problems...in fact it is what took his father's life. They have scheduled a stress test to find out what is going on, but hearing this right before Christmas just kinda sucks.
Sorry to lay this on you all, and especially those of you who are close to me, my sisters and brothers in spirit. I will keep you posted on what happens. Meantime, keep a kind thought if you would.

My cousin has been living on 35% function for quite a few years now. It can be done, but it must be done carefully. He's on a transplant list, but since he's doing so well, he's pretty far down.
