Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted December 27, 2010 Very good performance by the boys. Hopefully Kindl can stay in the line-up tomorrow as I liked his game.

Guest Crymson Report post Posted December 27, 2010 You really don't like that guy. I understand if players are in slumps. It happens quite a bit. What I cannot abide is players who are in slumps and are lazy. Hudler is slumping and lazy. So yes, I really don't like him. If a player sucks but is working hard, that's different. But Hudler isn't working hard, and he generally seems to not care whatsoever that he's been by far the worst player on the team this season. At this point, Kris Draper is by far a more potent scoring threat. That says a lot.
Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted December 27, 2010 Good game, boys. Hope that Danny feels ok in the morning. Sometimes the next day can be the painful one. Tis' true. once you take the skate off the foot usually swells and you can't get it back in. edit: dunno where he got hit with the puck. I assume foot. Jesusberg 1,256 Report post Posted December 27, 2010 If Danny boy is injured, I'm trading Stuart on NHL 11. That's about as threatening as I can get... 2 Cheveldae32 and Jedi reacted to this
zombi 43 Report post Posted December 27, 2010 Despite netting 4 goals, it was a pretty boring game. Ah well.

Guest mindfly Report post Posted December 27, 2010 Wings' depth is now gone with datsyuk, cleary, modano out, now they're like any other team in the league, gotta play perfect D and grind out wins for a month now.
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted December 27, 2010 Previously averted disaster actually not averted at all. I guess the Wings can't get a W anymore without somebody going down in the process. What a s*** month this has been.

There may be an opportunity for the team here. If they play bad enough, then maybe you'll take your fan talents to another team. I hear South Beach has a hockey team in the area... Lord Stanely 39 Report post Posted December 27, 2010 Looks like the Wings are playing MSU. Was at the game (right by the glass) and that is what all the WIng fans kept saying- "Go Sparties!"
Lord Stanely 39 Report post Posted December 27, 2010 Was sitting in first row on glass behind Wings bench during game at Minnesota and a couple funny Babcock Death Stare items: 1. The fans in that area just kept saying stuff about it- all Wings fans. It was just so funny to see it up close. 2. Oh man did he give it to the ref after the Holmstrom penalty- and actually an earfull! 3. Kindl gave the puck away or made some sort of bad defensive play and Babs leaned over the bench as he skated back just staring him down- then when he got to the bench he leaned in further towards him and actually did the blind sign language for see towards Kindle- like "I'm Watching You!" 4. the girl sitting next to us wanted a pic with him looking at her- so she tapped on the glass and he actually turned around and gave her the deathstare while somebody took the pic. I really think he heard us talking about it because she kept saying things like "Oh man I want a Babcock pic of him staring." and he was right in front of her. 5. I really enjoyed how he treated the players- alot of pats on the back and encouragement before shifts especially. Really is a good coach for that stuff. Boy Lidstrom sure is silent on the bench- the whole team really was. 6. The cleary injury was bad- he collapsed as he was getting of the bench after the second shift. 7. Hudler looks like he is skating with a broken skate. WTF is he doing out there. And I always loved Hudler. 8. Minny fans are very classy and knowleadgeable- all very kind! Not one jackass all night unless you consider the guy taunting Bertuzzi all night- but he was just being funny (Viagara, bauld spot, etc). Spent yeas going to Blackhwaks games and their fans are rude crude Aholes. Minny fans my hats off to you. 9. I would have to guess close to 20% of the fans there were WIngs fans. Somebody said it is because of the 10 years in Minny with no NHL that many Minny people are Wings fans.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted December 27, 2010 I have been to a couple of Minn. games. The fans I have run into have all been very nice people. Love the Death Stare. It is so handy when used correctly. So glad you and the boys had fun.
