Wings have to sign him before july 1st or he's gone...he needs a very strong season

He's big, talented, young and putting up more than a point per game in the QMJHL (admittedly not a terribly uncommon thing in that league).

I'd be shocked if they don't sign him... the Wings could use more power forwards in the system.

It's kind of ridiculous that Fournier gets a contract and Nestrasil doesn't. Not saying Fournier doesn't deserve one because I think he does. I just think Nestrasil should definitely get one if Fournier gets one. Plus, I mean, Ferraro has a contract and right now that's looking like a huge joke. When was the last time that guy had a point?

Just before the 09 draft I believe.

Debatable. USA is the favourites this year, but Canada looks damn good right now, im sure it will come down to Canada vs USA again though.

 Sad but true.

He's having an even worse season than 2009/10, which I didn't think was even possible. I'm pretty sure he's gone goalless in the past 15 or so games, maybe even longer.

Ken Holland: He’s (Mursak) a young guy, provides energy, can skate, he’s a puck hound.

He blamed it all on his coach last season.....Maybe he needed to look within instead.

Ferraro biggest bust ever, what were the wings' thinking, they could have gotten Carter Ashton for example, big strong canadian powerforward'ish, he went 29th overall, the pick detroit had but traded it to tampa for their 32nd in which they picked Ferraro with...and the extra pick they got for trading down they picked nestrail who isn't signed yet...

Or Toni Rajala.

Don't think he will be that good, i'm very pleased with pulkkinen, of course we all wanted grandlund but he was always out of question because he was going pretty early in the 1st round, i doubt nättinen will be good either.

I am kinda with Mindfly on that one. Trading down outta the first isn't that great of an idea given their track record drafting North Americans early. The earlier they pick the better especially since they rarely pick high. I wouldn't have minded Carter Ashton at all

Dan Cleary is an Xbox 360.  While good for a while, it's time for the new generation to take over.

Pulkkinen with two more assists today.

Iron Hook takes on Canada at 4EST. I'm assuming same streams as last game.
