Scott Parker struck me as a guy that had a problem.Nothing unusual.
Probert and McCarty were known to have drinking problems of their own.
There's probably a lot more untreated cases around the NHL that we never hear about.

I remember watching an interview after one of the Avs games a few years back and he was just out of it. Not sure what it was, hell, could've been nothing

Wouldn't be one of my favorites. Mostly because I'd have to kill myself in embarrassment the first time a Detroit fan blew a train whistle.
Yes but..at times we've had plastic octupi, pink rally towels and imo the worst was when the fans cheered louder all game for the m n m's races on the scoreclock than they did during the game.
As for addictions Probert, Kocur, Klima, Kennedy, McCarty and others. I wish him well.

Gaetz was another one. I wonder how Brian McGrattan is doing. When I use to live in Nashville, Tootoo was always in the clubs and drank ALOT! He was always s*** faced drunk. He also had a serious stalking problem. There were many girls that stated he would wait outside their house and watch them, as well as simply not leave them alone. Toot's dated one of the trending country singers (can't remember her name because I hate country music) but she stated that Toot's stalked her as well after they broke up.
Toot's has some serious issues, but although we all hate him on the ice, its nice to see that he realizes he has a problem and wants to fix it. Best of luck!

Good news... I can't stand Tootoo, but wish him no harm. Glad he got better, and good on the Preds and NHL for standing up for him and with him as he tries to right the ship. Hope he learned something from this and makes the most of a second chance not everyone gets in life.
Now, I hope the Wings beat the Preds' butts on 4/2, because I plan to be there.

Good news for Toots, hopefully he is better, and can continue to live his life in a safe and healthy manner. I know he is pretty hated around these parts, but I'm one of the few that doesn't mind him. He plays on the edge and is incredibly gritty, and also has some hockey talent.

I'm betting it was mandatory and forced on him, especially with the short amount of time he was in rehab for.

Yeah one month is not long at all for rehabilitation of a drug of any kind. I'm guessing he showed up to practice drunk one too many times, the team forced him to do a month of rehab and that's that.

I read somewhere Toots has voluntarily (read as: not court ordered) admitted himself into the NHL-NHLPA behavioral health program. I think it was alcohol, cause he also got DUI sometime I thought (or was that his brother?).

One month doesn't sound like enough time to sober up or dry out, so I'm not convinced this will last very long. That said, I hope it does.
