I'll be watching, but probably won't be in the GDT as I'll be over at the in-laws' for dinner (thankfully, the game is on MSG+ tonight, which means I can still watch).

Hudler gets a hat trick...but his third goal gets stolen by the War Room. Booo.

Didn't mindfly also predict a loss to the Devils?

Im not a fan of those officials.

After an awful first period the Wings are down 3-1 with Tatar scoring the only Wings goal. The team looked really flat so Babs mixes lines up. Tatar gets put on the top line with Z and Mule. Tatar goes on a rampage and nets 4 more goals for a 5-3 finish.

From the hfboards Islanders site:

I always thought it was stupid to have sporting events on New Years. I always figured, who is going to go to this?

Oh, Wings. Please forget that this is the Islanders.
Of course, now the JoeyMac is safely in GR, this should be ok.

Money on the board:  $40

Thanks for a great season, guys.  You exceeded expectations and have given us something to look forward to as the long summer approaches.

And next year we get to start in October, like hockey is SUPPOSED to.

I can't work up a good hate for the Islanders. Kyle Okposo's dad is a friend of mine.
I will have to envision them dressed in Colorado uniforms.

My fear is we'll win by two, and lose another top player to some idiotic injury (like malignant hemorrhoidal distension.)
