Tatar hat trick. You heard it here first.
Check out my short e-book on the Red Wings' 1937 Stanley Cup championship entitled: "Nothing Could Keep 'Em Down." Please download it from my profile at Smashwords: https://www.smashwor...ile/view/victor

New e-book: The Spanish-American War: A Brief History. Relatively short, introductory read for casual history buffs and people who want to learn more about a forgotten war that changed America. Available at BN.com, Smashwords, Kobo, and Diesel E-Books right now. Same link as above.

Am I the only one a bit surprised to see Jimmy in goal? I would like to have seen Ozzie get this one. But, oh, well... GO WINGS!!!

Can't wait to see what Tatar has in store for us. He's really exciting to watch. :)

Draper-Helm-Tatar: hockey smarts, speed, and fire power... I like this line!

LOL, I did a fantasy draft and I swear it's pure coincidence that the team I'm playing is the Flyers, but Tatar got six goals in that SIMULATED game lol.

Gonna be a huge game, s***ty we're down so many men. But phillys missing Pronger, and we're at home after a loss, I think the wings will pull it out tommorow.

I wonder how the Wings would fare if another Swede in Daniel Alfredsson was on the squad.

Heading to the game tomorrow. Sitting in the Holiday Inn Express that's a mile away right now :)

May get a late lunch before the game, any suggestions?

Looking forward to a great game!

Got FSD setup with all it's glory.  Plan to have pre and post game coverage along with Wingspan and 24/7.  Youtube page: RedWingsLive1

I have a feeling Lidstrom, Hudler and Zetterberg all have great games

5-2
Z with 2, Hudler with 1+1, and Lids with 3 assists, Tatar with a point (won't call it goal or assist), Bert with a strong night.

I hope my new crystal ball works.

Any links that says who is in and who is out?

mlive reports:

Detroit Red Wings forward Patrick Eaves didn't practice Saturday and will sit out for the second game in a row Sunday at home against the Philadelphia Flyers (5 p.m., FSD) due to an infected elbow.

Honestly I wasn't all that impressed with Tatar's first go with the Wings. He had the game-tying goal, yes, but other than that you could tell it was his first NHL game. Mursak has been the more impressive of the two IMO, despite presently being outscored.
Here's to hoping he keeps the streak alive though, and the Wings get a W to start off the new year.
