I agree. They do look great, especially on D but they seem to have let up a bit and lost a step in transition.

I think the States are just getting on more loose pucks now. They don't just get it in and watch Canada break out past them. The goal gave them a bit of boost. They don't look as dreadful as they did earlier.

They're chasing the puck more in the neutral zone. They were really tight positionally earlier.

US has just been terrible while Canada hasn't looked much better, they are just executing better and capitalizing on their chances.

I didn't watch it, or really have a rooting interest. I hate picking sides between Canada and the USA. Each country is great in it's own way, and makes the other country better. Plus I have family and friends living in America.

Anyway, I guess my Canadian friends and family will be happy, and the hosts on the FAN590 and people calling in tomorrow will be giddy. It's a good distraction to the Leafs losing 2-1 over the team they're helping to build into an eventual Stanley Cup Champion

Edit: Wow, just saw some highlights of the Canada-USA game! How many USA fans were in the crowd? It looked like the game was in Southern Ontario and not Western New York.

For another forum, slick. Let us find some videos on what ANY Canadian will do during any type of national victory or otherwise. Though the burning of Crosby's picture (Mr. Golden Goal himself) was hilarious, it doesn't need to be much more looked into than that one. I mean, come on

Happy for ya lol. Allow me to be one of the first to say I watched most of the game and saw an elite team vs. a bunch of mini-mites. Just a horrible showing. Thanks for proving my points to a severe degree, though

Visentin came through with a very solid game in net, and Canada checked the USA right out of the game in the first 2 periods. Great performance from Canada!
