Friday night at the park against the Sawwwkkkssss, should be good times. Ricky P looking to keep up the good work. Got to take advantage of a somewhat falling Indians team.

Also, too bad for Buster Posey, broken leg and some ligament damage. The unfortunate part of blocking the plate and having the foot planted as such. He played that perfectly but paid the price. Hopefully he can make a swift recovery but his 2011 season is done.

Trade:

To Oakland: 2B Scott Sizemore

To Detroit: RP David Purcey

Jimmy Lee says Raburn will move to 2B.

Boesch, Kelly, Magglio, and Wells are now the OF platoonees.

So we traded Sizemore who obviously wasn't hitting well to move the .200 hitting 8000 strikeout man Ryan Raburn to second base? As always, stellar logic Leyland. Get Raburn and Inge off the team if you want to improve the offense.

This team is a wreck. Bye bye Dombrowski. Finally.

Was at the game that Valverde lost, hard to see after coming back and Jackson almost giving the Tigers the lead.

Nice that 1 day later, they're on a 2 game win streak. Hopefully they can take further advantage of the Twins and turn things around soon.

I've also heard a couple of rumors about the Tigers throwing their hat into the ring on the Jose Reyes dealings.

I wouldn't mind Reyes at all, but the price would be absurd I'm sure. Reyes at short, move Peralta to third and then the flavor of the week at second (hopefully not Raburn).

I feel like you move Peralta to 2nd and he can still shade to his left as he does now - since Inge / Reyes would probably have the most range out of any 3B/SS combo.

Raaaaaburn! Hopefully this helps him turn it around.

Great to win the series, Tigers continue their MLB-best record within their own division and are now only 2.5 back of the Tribe.

Huge to win both of those road series. Tigers are 1 road series win away from last year's total.

Great bounce back game tonight, especially considering last night's flight. Tigers are now 2nd in wins in the entire American League.

Indians were idle tonight.

Only eleven of his twenty have been hit at home.

Four-three-five-two-four.

Not bad for a "little league field".

More than half is pretty good. I'm not saying he's not a good ballplayer, but Yankee Stadium definitely helps.

I'm happy for him and all, but he plays for the enemy now - so I can't pretend like I'm that happy for him.
