auugh.. our boo-boo list makes me want to boo-hoo. :( But, at least we can watch a game without hearing you-know-who's name every shift. No doubt there will still be many, many mentions of his highness, but I bet his team mates are enjoying their time as hockey players, rather than nannies on skates.

Go, Wings. Win this one, we need to catch Vancouver!!!!

Yeah I think I'll just be happy if a Red Wing escapes from this game against Pittsburgh without any injuries.

not likely

I predict a cheap shot by Orpik or Cooke on Franzen or Kronwall

How is Rafalski +16? Seems like he's always taking s*** from everyone on here.

part of it is that +/- is a pretty terrible stat

he is also a very good puck moving defenseman that takes way more heat than he deserves for his salary and occasional defensive mistakes though

Those are the popular names but they got wayyyy more guys than those two. Sometimes it seems like it's just what's his face and everybody else around him is supposed to protect him or "scare off" any potential cheap shotters.

This game just won't be the same with all the players out due to injury. Was looking forward to it before, now its "just another game."

Red Wings will definitely prevail. No guess what the score will be :)

3-0. Hudler hatty. Third goal Hudler will skate right through Fleury's fivehole.

It's not a terrible stat in certain aspects. It's very useful when comparing players on the same team, especially players on the same line or D-Pairing.

I am not looking forward to listen to everyone whine about Crosby whining in this thread.

Wings win 3-2

Hoping for a balls to the wall win from the Wings. My friends and I are going to the Motor City Casino for the viewing party (managed to snag a few of the 400 tix before the "sold" out). They won the last time there was a Viewing Party, hopefully they win again :)

Center Ice only has one feed. I assume it's going to be Pittsburgh's. Kill me now.

I could've sworn Engelland was suspended, but now I can't find anything about it. Well, poop...I thought we'd have one less little turd to put up with, but I guess not.

Well, it'd be great to win this and be able to shove it in their faces that they lost to a bunch of Griffins, but I won't be too disappointed if we lose for the same reason. I'll just have to wait until March when I can see our usual superstars cream them IN PERSON!! All I can say for now is, break a leg, Kronwall and Franzen! Heck, and Zetterberg, for that matter.

Yup, don't forget about Deryk Engelland.

A Penguin? Suspended? Inconceivable!

Chris Kunitz... Ugh...

"Hey I'm just gonna jump Darren Helm for no reason other than maybe because he's never fought before and I can bank away a win on my fight card... Yay..."

I mean, with all those disgusting names it really makes me wish that Tardif was in for the game. Not to "answer the bell" but to perhaps send him as a kamikaze to Cooke's ACLs.

Muleswillfly- Did you really just say break a leg to three of our remaining star players...I mean I get the reasoning behind it, but I dont know we even need to give them the hint of hearing those words given the injury bug that we got going.

Gonna be watching this one in my campus apartment with a bunch of Saudi Students who will be getting "English" lessons by watching me watch the game. Wings 4-2 Lids, Franzen, Zetts 2

GO WINGS
