It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

when the wings are on the 5 on 3 they go for dirty goals. when the wings play 5 on 5 they try to be fancy. this is the time to be fancy the passes will work

Our 5-on-3's never fail to make me throw up in my mouth a little.

Isn't there someone who can like tap the announcer on the shoulder, and tell him how to pronounce names?

Isn't that really your primary job as an announcer....to know who the people playing are, and how to say their names?

He has said "Franzine" multiple times :)


Was driving to Petoskey last weekend and my son figured we had the St Louis announcer b/c they couldn't pronounce Hudler. On a side note, I couldn't listen to the Wings but had the St Louis feed up through Kalkaska (north of Cadillac). That seemed weird

I thought you could listen to Ken and Paul just about anywhere in Michigan.
