If the teams dont really care about winning or losing (since winning the all star game does not come with any benefits) and you are just drafting to have fun and to put on a show than if you are Nick you have to pick Cam Ward first. Not the best goalie there, but it will get the Carolina fans on your side so they arent rooting against you. Staal will more than likely pick ward or Skinner to keep his fans on his side, so you gotta try and get ward if that is your strategy. If he wants to win though nick should go with stamkos for sure....and possibly see if there is a way to trade Kane for a player to be named later. Also, i dont know why, but the last few seasons ive had a huge man crush on claude Giroux and am really glad to see him make the games. I have a feeling he might have a really good night. Joey v3.4 45 Report post Posted January 28, 2011 (edited) I bet, crosby and Ovie will not get picked early. The two captains will pick lower rated people, to build suspense. This isn't a serious game, and nobody will take it that way. The Media will want to build suspense, and so both captains will pick oddball early picks, and move into picking the "top guys" around the middle. Nobody really cares about this game. The twins from Vancouver will go early. No goalie will get picked last, even though you know damn well that logically, if you already picked 2 solid goalies, picking a third is not a priority....but none of them will go last. The first ten or so picks I bet will be oddball, with the middle pics being dramatic. In the first ten picks, some stars will get picked too, otherwise people will lose interest. But they'll save the "good" picks for when viewer ratings would be highest Crosby and Ovie, might go earlier.........just because people are mostly interested in them. Granted that was an actual game but dang... lol TSN Biz Nasty and Doan face doing a mock. Biz got more votes than Doan Twitter is obviously worth it for some.
