Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted February 4, 2011 Minor news, but Mike Brown agreed to terms on a 3 year contract extension yesterday with Toronto. Brown leads the team in +/- with a +3. He has scored 2 goals and added 3 assists in 27 games so far this season.
Sprsquirt7 45 Report post Posted February 4, 2011 Played with this guy a bit back in midgets, guy was a beast back then and plays a very physical game. He was jacked at age 17, can only imagine he's stronger now. Good character guy.

newfy 695 Report post Posted February 4, 2011 Great signing for Toronto. They get a solid PKer who can lay guys out, fight and is extremely fast. Would like to see Brown in Detroits lineup 1 F.Michael reacted to this
mjlegend 155 Report post Posted February 4, 2011 Leads the team??? The Leafs have the 28th best pk this year, and had the 29th best last year. As primarily a penalty killer, you can see he's clearly irreplacable. Actually, I think Tim Brent's performance last night shows Brown isn't even the best penalty killer among the growing list of "Leafs' fourth liners who used to be Ducks", and he's getting $160,000 less than Brown under the new deal.
