Remember in Titanic when the ship hit the iceberg and sank, killing 1500 people?

We're the ship.

And again, missing the chance to put distance between themselves and Dallas after they lost again.

Wow, it gets worse... Just read this on Puck Daddy:

NBC Sports' makeover of VERSUS' NHL coverage will begin dramatically with Monday's broadcast of the New York Rangers at the Detroit Red Wings. According to a network source, Sam Flood, executive producer for NBC Sports and the man that's overseen its Winter Classic broadcasts, will produce Monday night's coverage.

Pierre McGuire will debut as an "inside the glass" (i.e. between the benches) commentator, joining Doc Emrick and Eddie Olczyk in announcing the game.

Ugh.

Detroit was shut out two games in a row at least twice last season.

Ugh.

Even worse than Pierre is that Mike Milbury is joining the studio.

Guess they wanted insider hockey knowledge from the man that sank Long Island into the Atlantic Ocean.
