Karma is a *****. That being said, when Franzen went down with a knee injury last year, fans of the Wings got upset while fans of other teams gloated. Just seems that karma bites the Pens this time around. In the end, I hope he returns. He is a skilled player and hopefully will be in the NHL for a long time to come.

Too bad so sad. Malkin though hasn't been his normal self this season anyways. It's for sure a big deal that he's gonna be out but the Pens have done well this season without much contribution from Malkin.

I don't feel bad, but I'm not jumping around for joy either. I like watching the Penguins suffer, although I'd prefer if no one were seriously injured in the process. It would make my schadenfreude seem less guilty.

Doesn't matter. They'll still have Crosby so we'll prolly get swept in 4 in the finals by them. Not to mention the Steelers are about to win another championship tomorrow. That city just knows how to win.

Pittsburgh is just a great overall team, the loss of Malkin won't be the end of their season. They have a good record without him.

Ovechkin has a lot of room to talk about being a winner, right?

well, he didn't talk about that in the clip.

anyways, i don't care about either team and it just felt like ovechkin summarised what i wanted to say on this topic.

The last 5 games without Malkin they've beaten elite teams, such as - Islanders(x2), Sabres, Rangers, and the Hurricanes.

So did they rush him back when he wasn't ready? Because as sure as there are 176 fans online here all the time, that's going to be the question asked.

This is seriously something to be proud of.

I can't stand Pittsburgh just as much as anybody in here because of he who shall not be named and Matt Cooke, but as somebody who has had re-constructive surgery on a torn ACL/MCL as well about 7 years ago and is currently having issues on my other knee, I feel for Malkin, it's going to take a good while for him to get back out there in all likelihood.
