How many games until he gets injured for the rest of the season?

Depends on how many times he dives this time around.

Meanwhile, I'm thinking I can get my double-runners out and try for a 'comeback'. :)

"He even ate with women who at that time were accorded the same status as the family donkey. Are we willing to break bread with, say, child sex slaves, transgender teens and undocumented workers? Because when Jesus comes back to Earth, that's where he'll be hanging."
You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.

If Claude returns to the Avs, and the Avs play the Penguins when Crosby is back, the amount of douchebag on the ice at one time will be the equivalent of dividing by zero and whatever rink they're playing in will be swallowed up by the earth.

So on that note, I'd love it if LePuke came back. :D

It's confirmed to be a $1M deal. So it won't really hurt the Avs even if he gets injured, and it also shows that anyone who thought he was doing this for the money (i.e. idiots) were wrong.

How old is he now?

3 years younger than the best defenseman in the league.

And Jagr mentioned in an interview he plans to consider the NHL over the summer.
The 90s are getting the band back together! :)

This would make my entire lifetime. Jagr is the reason I started watching hockey!

In order to be Favre 2.0, he'd have to play for the Wings.

"All done? Five bucks." - Pavel Datsyuk after an interview
"Very few cities in the NHL have the history or the following of the Detroit Red Wings." - Steve Yzerman

Brett Favre 2.0

He would have to actually retire in the first place

Awesome, one of my most respected hockey players, good to see him come back.

Can't wait to beat him again in the playoffs.

The only problem there is that the Avs ain't making the playoffs & Forsberg will hang 'em up again after the season.

Money on the Board 2014: $5 per series, $5 per sweep, $5 per Kronwalling, $10 per Marchand Kronwalling, $1 per Zetterberg game, $1 per 2013 Calder Cup roster player goal

How many games until the trade deadline has passed? That's my guess.

so let me get this straight... he doesn't have to pass through waivers because he had been retired for more than a year?

I'd love it if they picked up Patty Roy, or somehow lured Adam Foote out of retirement.

Wait, what?

Why not get the whole band back together? LePuke, Floppa, Roy, Ricci, Foote, Sakic (the only player with any class on that team), Deadmarsh, and probably a couple others I'm forgetting.

So just because he didn't play any games over in europe this year means that it's impossible to construe that Colorado was hiding him over there? The rule sucks, he should have to go through waivers just like Nabby. To me it's irrelevant if they actually played this year or not.

So any unrestricted free agent who doesn't sign prior to the season should have to clear waivers? The 'PA would hate that.
