Hi, Earth, haven't seen you much lately. :)

Our injury list is finally shrinking a bit. Nashville has more players out than us, that's different.

Go, Wings, they're just a bunch of pussycats. Score lots on Peckerini!!

Loo wants goals. ^_^

I'm really excited to see how Jimmeh plays. His last two appearances haven't been awful and I'd love to see him completely turn the corner. Also, I want solid games by Bert and Brian- they've both got something left, but it's been hiding lately.

Ditto! He still looked a little scrambly to me yesterday, but he did keep it down to 2 goals, so let's hope he's been borrowing Ozzie's STFU switch and get it buttoned down even more. Here's to Howard, may he be lazy and suck!

Rafalski could DEFINITELY use to shape up. I won't ring Bert's neck if he doesn't have a perfect game tomorrow, but since we are a man down on defense, Rafalski really needs to show everybody his best, especially if Kindl's going to have a couple of missteps. It's one thing to have a rookie malfunction, but your veteran guys need to act like veterans at times like those and not be pulling the same kind of crap!

Also, I hope Zetterberg gets his scoring groove back now that best buddy Datsyuk is back. I mean, I'm not complaining too much - look at that awesome PK last night - but I'm spoiled and like to see him score goals, if for no other reason than improving morale.

Thanks for the GDT, Hockeytown.

Looking forward to seeing Homer out there again.

Sucks we had to lose Flip though, I thought he'd been pretty decent lately.

We owe them one for last week, and their getting too close to us in the standing for comfort.

Wings win 3-2.

Loo wants goals. ^_^

cool.gif What Loo wants Loo gets wink.gif

I am attending. Here is hoping I see my first W of the year live. Yep, like 4 games I have attended, no wins. Who knows what its about but 3 of them have been SO's for the opposition!!! I have released this info to the LGW world because I am somewhat loopy on cough syrup and partly hoping now that I don't get banned lol. No prediction as I am attending but big night for Hank.

If they loose tonight I'm blaming you for that comment ^^^ :P Hopefully your luck and will change and you'll see a win.

Go Wings, we need to get more wins so get to work on it!

This. I want to see Hank start the goal scoring again.

Datsyuk did not enjoy time off

He's one of the game's elite players, but Pavel Datsyuk isn't much of a fan. Datsyuk loves hockey, but he can't watch a game involving the Red Wings if he's not playing.

"Can't do it; it's just not easy," said Datsyuk, who doesn't have to now, after returning to the lineup Monday, his fractured right hand fully healed. He had a goal and an assist in the Wings' victory over the Rangers.

Datsyuk broke his hand Dec. 22 against Vancouver and missed 19 games.

Datsyuk has missed playing time before due to injuries. But that didn't make this absence from the lineup any easier.

"It's worse in the playoffs," Datsyuk said about missing games, and being forced to watch. "Much worse."

He continued: "When I play, I'm not nervous. When I don't play, I get nervous."

It's not like Datsyuk lost track of teammates. He was around the locker room rehabilitating, working out in any way he could, and never lost touch with the team. But when a player isn't competing on the ice, not wearing the sweater, it's frustrating.

"I missed it," Datsyuk said. "I don't know if they missed me."

Judging from last weekend's consecutive shutout losses to Columbus and Nasvhille, they missed him a lot.

"We haven't played very well the last few games," Wings coach Mike Babcock said. "It'll be nice to get some energy in our lineup."

Will be at this one. Time to get revenge!

Hey Sky, Where are you sitting? I'm sitting in Section 208 Row 12 on the aisle, and I am flying solo, student rush style! Come on by if ya want!!! And anyone else for that matter! I just moved back home and would enjoy getting to meet some LGW'ers!!

I hope the wings score a goal for every fresh inch of snow that has fallen on Centerton, Arkansas today

and by the count of my Lowe's yardstick, that amounts to 24.

or 24 will score a goal tonight
