I've lurked on this board for a couple years and I want to thank the experts here for the lessons I have learned. I haven't played hockey for 35 years but by reading the ongoing critiques of the Wings play I realize now just how much I didn't know when I played.

That BS play should've never happened. If a ref or a linesman interferes with the puck as much as that, the play should be whistled dead and dropped at center. BS.

As a ref, I have had pucks go off of me that result in a scoring chance. Trust me on the fact that refs don't like it, but its a possibility in any game.
