Every time I read this board I hear people complain about E not playing physical. Now that he does people still complain.

Because playing physical means taking penalties ? I see Chara playing physical and Pronger yet don't take 2 penalties in less than 5 minutes. He makes mistakes and causes penalties because he panics.

That's not being physical, that's being stupid. Keep your hands on your stick and actually hit the guy, not put your hands on him and try to push him over. Ericsson gets harped upon, because he's big and plays like a *****. Not to mention his hockey sense rivals that of Bryan McCabe.

Thats another thing I read on here all the time. Howard took the team to playoffs last year and people want to bench him. Granted he had a rough patch there but he's still the same pretty good goalie
