Ah, good call. Still, yeah, he had an unimpressive season, and I can't see him being the starting goaltender in Colorado next year.

He was great against everyone last year. This year...not so much.

-I'll pledge $5 for a series win. - $5 (Anaheim)

both goalies have been awful this year, probably a change of scenery trade, not much more

Makes some sense if the Avs want to get a big name goaltender in the summer. Elliott as a backup, Vokoun/Miller as starter... Yes, I'm stretching.
Still, they should have been able to get a pick out of Ottawa as well as Elliott, unless Anderson's off-ice issues are at a Tootoo-ish level of seriousness.
