It's amazing how much clarity comes when you care more about the Red Wings than any individual player.

"They are the best team in the world. They are a team that can just take over when they want to," Chicago's Patrick Kane said (of the Detroit Red Wings).

Well Done!

Also rumors around that there could be a swap in Dallas and Pitt... D Alex Goligoski for LW James Neal... Interesting!

Thanks for keeping us updated Mac! I'm not a big fan of the yellow text on a white background, though.

With Pittsburgh's injury situation up front, a deal for a forward almost seems imminent.

Me neither. I'll switch that to a darker color or go to the teams' secondary/non-black color.

You'd think that last week was the deadline.

^ Agreed. I can't get over how many big moves have already been made, not to mention the amount of "little" ones.

It might just lead to a dull Trade Deadline day.

I hope not. I remember being very disappointed at last years deadline, as the only major move (that I remember) was the Kovalchuk trade.

RT @TSNBobMcKenzie: CGY puts Niklas Hagman on waivers. EDM's Sheldon Souray clears re-entry waivers.

Burke's coming out the clear winner in that Phaneuf move so far, especially with how Aulie has been developing...

He's really starting to look like a legit GM!

oh, wait...

What a bad trade by Joe. Goligoski is a #3 who excels at the offensive side of the game at BEST. And he gave up a promising young forward and a defenceman.. I hate when Pittsburgh makes good deals :ranting:

Could be wrong but this overpayment personified by Dallas. Pitt just became a tad relevant again.
