evilzyme 769 Report post Posted March 2, 2011 Hey guys, I'm not sure, but I stumbled upon this interview and thought it was pretty awesome. I'm not sure if it was ever shared on LGW but here's to pasha. http://allallan.blogspot.com/2009/04/heartfelt-pavel-datsyuk.html Alot of his background and a good look inside of him, I thought it was great read and never knew about his coming up to an NHL superstar. 8 13dangledangle, atodaso, jeff48109 and 5 others reacted to this

clearlybetter11 18 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 Never seen this before but it is now my favorite Datsyuk article that i have ever read. Thanks for posting. I'm so glad we have Pav on our team, not just because of his skill level but because he is just an all around good person.

MGreenberg 105 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 Great read, thank you for posting! I agree with this. Pavel is probably one of the most under-appreciated players in the NHL to the casual fan.

Yellowknife Redwing 57 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 That's probably the 3rd or 4th time I've read that article. It is an intimate look at a rare human being and is exceptionally well written.
Kira 451 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 I have to admit, when I first read this I broke down and cried. I know that feeling of losing parents, as I've lost both of mine, but not at 16. That's a hard age to go through even under the best of conditions, but what he went through had to be just the lowest of low. He has a very brave and beautiful soul. HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 An awesome glimpse into a one of a kind type player. After this, I appreciate him more than I have ever have. And that is saying an awful lot.
